The University of Liverpool is recruiting a Director of Academic Operations within Student Experience and Enhancement. The Director will lead teams responsible for student records administration, examinations and assessment, timetabling, student conduct, complaints and casework, compliance and UKVI activity. Operating with significant autonomy and strategic visibility, the role will shape policy and strategy for the organisation and administration of education, improve the student learning experience and embed inclusive, digitally enabled practices. The postholder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education and other senior leaders, contribute to major institutional committees and deputise for the Director of Student Experience and Enhancement when required. Candidates need substantial leadership experience in academic administration or operations and a strong record of leading strategic, cultural or digital change in complex settings.
